The intangible nature of SEO and dealing with Google changing its algorithm hundreds of times a year, means that SEO results can move up or down without any warning. This often has nothing to do with the SEO strategy, and is often because that search engine has adjusted its algorithm.

So promising any result achieved will be permanent, or that a result can be achieved in a certain time is just foolhardy
